sharpshooter_91
Hey everyone, I'm looking at doing a 5.1 setup using the synergy series. It's a small-ish room with an odd layout so I don't have the space for floor speakers (plus the wife would never go for the look), so my L/R mains are going to be the smaller B-20's. I was just wondering if it'd be better to go with the larger and more powerful -20 series for my center and surround, or stick with the -10 series. The S-20 and C-20 both have higher power handling than the B-20's, while the S-10 and C-10 are lower. I just don't know if the -10 series will be sufficient, or if going with the -20 series would make a big difference. Any input you guys have is much appreciated! Sancho Panza
Welcome to the Forum! Bigger is always better. Look to Newegg to have sales on some of this line regularly.
mustang guy
Sancho is right. With speakers size does matter. One point of note is the sub. I have never seen a sub which was too powerful for a home theater. A sub can make a pathetic system sound unreal.
Sancho Panza
If you're really frugal look on your local Craig's List; I see this line on there often.
