I'm thinking someone added the fluid I found but I was curious if anyone else has found ferrofluid in thier K55's? It took hours to clean this crap out. mustang guy Posted December 5, 2013 Share Posted December 5, 2013 Interesting. I have made ferrofluid before using synthetic motor oil and MICR toner for a copier/printer. It is an interesting subtstance. When subjected to a magnetic field, it stiffens. Given that these speakers have fixed magnets rather than electromagnets, all that would happen if ferrofluid is introduced is it would turn into a solid and stay that way.
