Lemon string Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 Happy monday Just wanted to see if any members might have any recommends on a good shop? Im familiar with saturday audio exchange but wanted to see if there were any other shops worth checking out? Im really interested in buying a tube amp and would be cool with looking at used. I work downtown but live west of the city in the fox valley area, Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, Aurora, Naperville...... I was in Peoria over thanksgiving and visited a great shop, EDI. The guys were really cool and had a lot of great gear to audition. They had a great vibe going, I stopped in on a saturday and guys were coming in chilling, enjoying a scotch and great tunes. Got me thinking that there has to be such a place somewhere in my neck of the woods. If anyone has any leads on a cool shop out my way let me know, curious to know.
