at what point are just going to invest in a 6 axis CNC machine?

beyond repeatability and prototyping MANY different designs, you'll be able to knock those out in 30 minutes on an ongoing basis.

then again... we can 3d print those now days.

No plans on buying a 6 axis machine anytime to soon. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You must have mistaken me for Bob Crites. ;) Just kidding Bob!

Could you post some curves here or on your site?......

As soon as I get some curves I will post them.

I have no plans on building a 150Hz version. I think this one is too big.

Might as well start figuring out what to charge for them and get going on the next set.

What's shipping going to run, about $400.00?

If they test anything like the original BAT-HORN, pricing will be a non issue. I will just need to find a large dumpster.

You may not be far off about the shipping.

Thought about a 150hz version?

If they did work out on these bass bins, would I have to call them Snail-Trac's?

OMG.........the snails have made an appearance. Haven't seen those in a while.

I have the k31s loaded. JC loaned me some tweeter horns to try out. I have an Ashly xover I bought on the trip for the snails.

My shopping list includes a horn that crosses over at 300-350 so looking at 100hz-175hz tractrix round horns. Also need a pair of JBL 2482s. This project should be wrapped up next year.

I'd love to hear a three way eliptrac system on top of a big bass horn or khorn.

These would be close, the usable range at 1/2 octave above the Fc is 360Hz.

That giant eliptical looks like a handful. Why are you worried about measurements given the performance of the smaller one?

As for the snails.........Those things actually wrinkled my face one night at JC's house. I had to hold my cheeks so my face wouldn't collapse.

Well these won't have the same drivers you heard. These will have the 12" k31. I'll eventually try them withe the 15 an 18 inch drivers. I hate to admit this but I have not even fired them up for measuring. I will do that soon though.
