Grainy...

Do you know the ISO you used on this, Ive been trying to learn more about night shooting, from reading I was lead to believe higher ISO would improve night shots, Upon further reading Iv'e found too high an ISO setting introduces grain. I ordered my first tripod today and hope to get outside for some experimentation soon.

From what I found your right, now I try to keep the iso as low as possible and just use longer shutter speeds where possible and set the timer so your not touching the camera to take the pic, depending on the camera there are other ways to do that also.

First tripod, your going to have fun !

Experiment with many settings and you will find out quick what you like and dislike. Night and low light are my favorites.
