An old restaurant in CLT called The Oriental had those big Kois in a pond inside. Had a bridge over it inside the that I just had to walk over every time we went. So cool I remember it and it was before my bro was born so I wasn't even 7 yet and I got chicken chow mein and egg rolls every time.

I was at a trade show in SF and stuck in a large hotel with an extravagent koi pond. I had a small pocket camera I carried when any big camera would be a nuisance. In the evening, under the lobby lights, I snapped a few dozen shots into the pond and I was really taken by the weird artistic captures that were happening due to the overheard lights and angle and reflections. It may look heavily Photoshopped, but it is pretty much what came out of the camera that evening.
