JohnJ 11770 Posted December 22, 2020 Found something cool in the back corner of the attic a couple weeks ago. Since it has a small hole on a cylinder I let it sit a few days in the storage room. Not as cool as one of the ones with the mineral oil in them but that one leaked and got tossed. 5
BigStewMan 19836 Posted December 22, 2020 That's mine John ... it has my name on it. Wrong spelling; but it was a gift. I miss it. 1

JohnJ 11770 Posted December 25, 2020 That's what I was talking about! Nice shots @Marvel , Merry Christmas to ya! The one I had must have gotten dropped and a seal busted. They were pricy even in the 80s when I got it! 1
Marvel 5448 Posted December 25, 2020 Thanks. This one doesn't have oil in it and wasn't too expensive. I need to see if I could get shots with a lens adapter. Hard doing it with the cell phone. 1
JohnJ 11770 Posted December 25, 2020 Really? The colors blend very well. Maybe glass shards instead of plastic like the kids toy I found. It did come in that velvet bag!
Marvel 5448 Posted December 25, 2020 And Merry Christmas to you as well, John. How is the house hunting going?
JohnJ 11770 Posted December 25, 2020 (edited) I can't really do too much, hate seeing what seem to be good deals disappear. Need the $ from the sale to buy... on SS. Will move down to Clemson for a few months this spring. Preparing more stuff for the move, filling the front room with cabinets right now. Listening to Christmas Carols before I pack up the stereo later on this evening. * Edited December 25, 2020 by JohnJ *

Shiva 2447 Posted January 17 Having a bit of a heatwave here. Inside temp of 76 degrees, on 1-17 at 1:17. Apologies for the dark photo, had to act fast for the shot.

Shiva 2447 Posted January 17 I love the look of that snow covered path. A perfect place for a stroll in the bracing evening air.
