John & Jane Doe!

That's pretty clever! Blondie would stare in the window behind my TV, until I would come out to the porch with some carrots. She was quite a character, she would come running if we called her and let you get as close as 3 feet.

Found an outside hydrant I didn't know was there when I was trimming the bushes.  I knew it was there but never had a use for it so kinda forgot about it.  Walked around the corner to hit it w/a shot of WD-40 to see if it would work.  There she was.  Mama robin took flight outta the nest w/the babies in it.  Guess she didn't abandon it after all.  Nice start to a hot day here in Duckburg!  :)

Mr. Owl is patrolling my property at night doing it's job, much to the chagrin of the unsuspecting rodent. Got lucky           the trail cam was able to pick this event up, the owl has a very impressive wing span. Thanks Mr. Owl!                                                                      20240908_160622.thumb.jpg.83c213d2bdd79a7961f5bc0fdc30f9bc.jpg

Over time the density balance between the wax and the liquid can get off and they won’t work right.

i had one that had gone “dead” on me but I was able to revive it by slowly adding a tiny bit of dissolved salt to the liquid which increased its relative density enough to cause the heated wax to start floating again.

The cap on mine was the same size as a standard beer bottle and I got a friend with a home brewing setup to seal it up with a new cap when I was done.

Nice Razor Wire.

..Bad neighborhood ??

It's my bomb 🚀 shelter 😄. It's actually the water company's pump house that's used to pump water up the mountain, to a water supply tank. It's a little bit of an eye sore, but it's not actually on my property but close.

What a great and nice pic! Not every professional photographer is lucky to catch such a moment. I think you should share it on platforms for photo sharing. Maybe on clickasnap or similar. I'm sure people will like it.
