Technically, as Dean said, it's not a "mod" since he is not changing any of the values on the components but merely upgrading the components themselves. Deang Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 It's different than it was, so I guess it's a mod. The word seems too strong though - on other forums I'm seeing this referred to as a tweak. That adhesive is terrible to work around, and melting point of the original solder is higher than it should be, which makes me wonder if it has silver in it.
