robc1976 Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 Almost done with my theater build and need some heavy duty mounts for my RB61II heights/surround. In the past I have used shelves but want these on mounts for a cleaner look and the ability to swivel ect. I have tried other mounts in past and they just don't hold the weight. I would prefer a mount that hangs from ceiling instead of wall. Don't think that will work considering the RB-61ii are 18lbs each. These Omnimount brackets support up to 20lbs and are designed to be mounted from the ceiling. Mine are about 2 inches from the wall. Keep in mind too that the RB75's are large bookshelves and I believe the heaviest ever made in the reference series.
