Safety
I know that DVD movies come in 5.1 audio format, but do you know of any just standard music that comes in the 5.1 format? Just curious as I have the reference series system and would like to "experience" music in this venue. Right now all my "old" music is just standard 2 channel and would like to explore music in the surround sound format. My current receiver can somewhat fake the 5.1, but am looking for the true 5.1 format.
boa12
oh yea for starters a lot of music performers have DVDs out recorded w/ 5.1 channels the best i've heard being the Eagles Hell Freezes Over in DTS 5.1 (a lot cheaper than their concert tic). also DVD audio starting to become more available. JJT
Their are CDs that are formatted in DTS, give Amazon.com and Tower Records a try. You'll find some there.
SickPuppy
Also try Ken Cranes, or rather www.kencranes.com they have a pretty good selection of DTS recordings.
