Woofers and Tweeters
I agree, they do look nice. Bob Crites xover. I like the smoked glass tops. More people should protect the tops of speakers. "Virgin birch wood has never been stained or coated with anything." Shouldn't they have a finish of some sort?
ricktate
I think that's a good price for them in that shape....got to be AA crossovers cause they got the the shoe base trim around the grill. At least 1980 or newer mine did not come with the shoe bass trim.
ricktate
A lot of people ordered them with no finish,,,,,I saw 60 minutes one time interview someone that had unfinished ones behind him.
Budman
i don't recall klipsch ever putting the molding all the way around the front of the speaker. usually they just put it around the top hat so i think the owner added them i'd like them better with no grill but these are sweet. great price also
Sancho Panza
I've seen pics of a pair over at Audiokarma with FULL Factory grilles.
Budman
i don't ever remember klipsch putting full factory grills on lascalas either, they just put it on the top. had to be an owner add on i've seen a couple of scalas with full grills, home made Edited January 26, 2014 by Budman

Woofers and Tweeters
Rather than starting another thread, can someone tell me what the 6th speaker is of the 5 Heritage offered in the picture? The one in front of the LaScala looks to be wider than the speaker, what looks like a Heresy, in front of the Khorn.
Schu
that's a heresy isn't it... with no riser. the one in front of the belle is NOT. Edited January 26, 2014 by Schu
Woofers and Tweeters
that's a heresy isn't it... with no riser. the one in front of the belle is NOT. Not sure, I thought the opposite. The one on the left looks to be wider, not as deep and the grill sets in more than what i remembered.
Coytee
Love the grain on the Khorn. I would have voted that the "Heresy" on the right is a Heresy...and the one on the left is a ??
Sancho Panza
Think they are both Heresy; Left no risers, Right Flat risers.

bobdog
I think it is just perspective of the photo. The Lascala looks large in proportion to the Khorn also.
ricktate
Both are Heresys one with riser,,,,,,The top grill on Scalas was extra so I bet you could have ordered full gril if you wanted with extra cost. Money talks,,lol, Rick Edited January 26, 2014 by ricktate
Woofers and Tweeters
Okay, between Budman’s information and that a picture can throw an illusion on dimensions, I concede that they are both Heresy – maybe. Coytee, I agree with you on the Khorn’s wood grain. They prolly culled through several cabinets before those were chosen. Schu, sorry for hijacking this thread. I was looking for info on the grills when I saw that picture. From there, my ADD took over.
Schu
the more I look at it, the more I am convinced they are two different speakers... maybe one is a HIP?
