Your right MKP, I remember dropping off the kids sometimes at there high school, the parking lot was full of nice cars, nothing under 30k, the teachers parking was not the same at all.

How are they going to survive after the parents stop paying the bills, it's going to be a real slap in the face by reality for some.

When we were doing Landscaping a couple of people asked me why don't you get a new truck, ours was an 89 chevy 3/4 ton with less than 40k miles. with the old ugly bodystyle compared to the new ones. I just told them it would be nice but I would have to make at least $500+ a month more just to break even, we would rather just use that to do things. Still have that truck now it has 43K miles.

The best of luck w/new coffee maker, please report back as to function/taste.

We are always down for a new fangled machine around these parts.

My "Perker" just might be ready to expire, im kind of keeping my eye's open, maybe time to read some Amazon reviews :emotion-21:

Will do. I can tell you it's made in... Netherlands!!

That made me sit up. I nearly choked while drinking my coffee. Holy cow not made in the east. They had me at that. But yes, after dialing it in I'll report back in a week.

Morning all....

Were at the shop doing our thing.......BOSS is up front doing her BOSS things.....I'm in the bay on the forum:D

Well The BOSS is on the internet looking at trucks for me/us...... I am so done with the p.o.s F-250. That thing has cost me more time than any vehicle I've owned..... But any half way decent truck is so much damn coin. Ya know I drive around town and see these young kids in these jacked-up newer F-350's Power Strokes or some big azz Dodge Cummins that mommy or daddy got for them.....and I don't mind telling ya........It irriates the chitt out of me!! ........ and here I sit trying to scrape some coin to get something that I don't have to fix every damn week, while "Jonny" that just graduated High school drives around in $60k+ truck that has just had $10k of accessories slapped on....oh yea and don't forget to cut the big holes through the bed for the BIG stupid stacks.....What the......

OK.... let me mop up tears and get to work, hey it's Friday and all is good in MKP & BOSS land;)

A good day to all.....

MKP :-)

i hear you brother.  all of my kids went to school in Huntington Beach.  Occasionally, I’d drop them off at school and the kids were driving BMWs or Mercedes Benz.

No thanks, I think for now I will just have to listen my normal way.

There's a good chance that there's a song that is particularly meaningful to you, and a new small study from Switzerland may explain what makes things we experience, including music, meaningful.

In the study, researchers asked people to take the drug lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD, and then were able to pinpoint how people's brains ascribed meaning to specific factors, such as songs, in their environment.
