Ceptorman
Good going Carl. I hope it doesn't hurt too bad. You should wear the larger shoe on the hurt foot only....make a fashion statement I think you should stay off of it and keep it elevated....and stay hydrated!

Although, IIRC, another member (named for a Muppets character with a scientific bent) who also had a very high likes to posts ratio, ended up getting banned, but I don't see you headed in that direction. :-)

The bowling shoes are another story but it'll have to get through my sock and 2 bandages. Carl, Best of luck my friend because I sure do not want you sick or worse, but realize this, over 1 million bacteria can fit on the head of a pin! billybob
Nan always buys my shoes too big for me. Thinking she must think highly of me. One day at the beach my shoes were so big, could not feel the car running over my toes. What a sweetie she is...break a leg...

I'll probably rent a shoe that's larger than what I normally wear to give me a little room. OR - you could literally kill two birds with one stone - drop a bowling ball on your toe. But roll a few balls first and get the bowling part completed prior to "dropping" the pain killer. Sounds like a fun night at the alley ---

minermark
Evening gang Nice Nap completed, only to be woke up by the wife returning from the Indian casino. She seems to be Fleecing for the last couple of weeks, "C" note here and there. Tonight she comes home with a Grand, soooo, two bones @ Red Lobster, killer choc cake and now a Nap. Monday for retired folks is meaningless, catch You-All in the morning.
