70 Degrees@ 5 Am, very nice :emotion-41:

They say today will be triple digits, yeah right. last two days have been 100+.

At least FOX has larger Balls, closer to reality.

Our lovely 0roville Dam disaster is moving right along, they are NOT fixing anything, they are busy pointing fingers.

You see, that what this SS state does.

110 cement trucks called in (and paid for) for the spillway foundation project 20+ years ago.

60 trucks show up, lets do the job with 60 eh?, pocket the residual. That is how Calif works.

Coffee should be perked, id say this is a three cup day......:emotion-44::emotion-44::emotion-44:

Me too. Back in Michigan where I grew up they were fun cuz they actually stuck in the ground. Where I live now they would go thud and fall over.:P "Dirt, whataya mean dirt, more like natural concrete".

Looking dam fine.

Is that raw wood veneer?

Yes, this is raw wood. I used Heat Lock glue. It is rolled on the veneer and the cabinet. You let it dry and then use an iron to reactivate the glue to hold the pieces together. I'm still thinking about the type of finish I will use. Regardless if it's lacquer, finishing oil or polyurethane, it will really make the grain pop.

Yes

Thought so.

iv a little cabinet making in my younger days, learned from German craftsman of all things.

They really like to smack you on the head when doing something they dont agree with.

That Burl raw, opens my mind to the possible finishes, really blows my mind knowing what you could do w / finish:emotion-21:
