Leaving in the am for Hope again to work on the museum, I know no one gives a &%^#  but it's just to say why I don't post or reply.

We like hearing about your adventures, especially when it's Klipsch related. Your last visit there hanging those huge speakers was very interesting. Take pics.

(your last boat trip had a very nice pic 😄)

… o O (well... that was yesterday lol) … and we do give … o O ( and [&] percentage [%] up there [^] number [#] ...) … but heck, are you mowing before the rain comes in next month.... oh wait.. you're hooking up some extension cable cords.... striping the parking lot's.... vacuuming the speakers.... giving the Super 8 a surprise visit.... checking the available chair's for functionality.... cleaning the windows … making sure the ladder isn't rusted and the sump pump sing's quietly... I can only speculate in ya'lls absence that the stage is getting some 4 inch wood screws and hoping no one borrows the new led light bulbs.... and then breaking in the coffee pot and doing a dry test run on the cocktail mill....

wife is busy spending $$$

can't say that I wouldn't appreciate a working kitchen.  The cabinets/counters are going to be simple.  Wooden workbenches with a shelf.. We will use a piece of good plywood for the countertop.  This is what she wants .... and I a quite fine with it. I would have it set up like a commercial kitchen [all stainless], if left to my likes.  This is a wooden compromise.  It is a cabin, after all

this OrganicMexican coffee from Gadsden sure is nice.

VERONA, N.Y. -- Turning Stone's "boozy milkshakes" were ranked one of six over-the-top favorites in the country.

Forbes Travel Guide says the casino's Upstate Tavern sells the spiked shakes, which are “photogenic treats that are certainly worth the caloric splurge," for $12.

The shakes come in five different flavors:

  1. Candy Bar Crush: Dark Crème De Cocoa, Rum, Chocolate Ice Cream, Nutella, Peanut Butter and Fluff topped with Whipped Cream, Caramel Drizzle, Bark Garnish, Peanut Butter Cups, Praline Cookie and Marshmallows with a Butterfinger Rim
  2. Boozy Banana: Spiced Rum, Vanilla Ice Cream and Bananas topped with Whipped Cream, a Chocolate Dipped Banana, Hot Fudge Sauce
  3. Mocha Brownie: Coffee Vodka and Chocolate Ice Cream topped with Whipped Cream, Hot Fudge Sauce, Chocolate Shavings, Mini Coffee Cup filled with Cream Whiskey, Brownie Pieces and a Chocolate Sprinkle Rim
  4. Sugar Rush: Cake Vodka and Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Whipped Cream, a Mini Funfetti Cupcake, Cotton Candy, a Pixie Stick, Rock Candy Pop and Sprinkles
  5. Bourbon Caramel: Bourbon, Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Whipped Cream, Caramel Drizzle and a Caramel Popcorn Ball with a ‘Nilla Wafer Rim

The milkshakes made the list, along with some from a handful of the most notable resorts in the world, according to the guide.

ahhh… o O (potato flakes and potato starch)  …. sounds like a cooked potato went into a blender and ended up in a nicely sealed, and convenient and accessible potato chip bag, with a graphic artist applying the name indicating "potato" there-abouts within the wording.... so, TGIF and it's not a pringles...

Looks like a tasty butt my friend.  What's the occasion?  Geen egg too!

Parents in town from Michigan on their way to Florida. We all cried at Michigan loss to red raiders last night. Butt will make it all better. God bless the 🐖 oink. 1 rack each baby back and spares to wash down the pulled pork. Vinegar based home made sauce and slaw on top with small buns so you can have many.....just like N.C. does.

So I figured out that my french press coffee taste bitter as my grounds are too fine. Now i am thinking of trying a grinder and whole bean. I remember some recommendations a while back in regards t ok grinders. Any recommendations for one that will grind coarse?

I've used mine with my drip maker, the immersion and a previous glass french press that broke under the counter. It has ten settings, stayed between 5 - 8 with most beans for drip - press. Thing about this one is the consistency of the grinds, and that the machine keeps on making the grinds the same as where you set it. Like any good machine should do!

The last one I had tried to grind a pebble, I did stop it and it worked well for another couple of years. Used the same grinder for over ten years, though now on my second one.

I can use the immersion with the metal mesh screen with it set at 7 without having sludge at the bottom of the mug.

Electric & yea pricey to me but coffee is my vice now! The newer one isn't as noisy, only some static in the cool months.

Gets almost fine enough for expresso or Turkish but not quite.

Coffee grounds and a rolled dollar bill, as if to be snorted like a drug
