I had no idea, we were watching a show last night about Hawaii, I don't remember what island but they said the rainfall on this one island can vary from 12" a year to way over 100" depending on what side you're on.

I lived in Lihue/Hanamaulu.  Was like the midwest w/o winter or summer...

It had to be prettier? I have never been to the midwest but can't imagine it looking better than Hawaii.

The cane fields looked like healthy as corn. Pioneer and NK have seed corn fields on the west side. The corn is pitiful looking. Doesn't do so well in the tropical [12/12 day/night] light scheme.

I was at the beach when I wasn't working or on the water.  I was at the beach during lunch. Used a ridiculously small rod/reel. 6.5ft light weight with a little spinning reel loaded  with 6lb test. Was much easier to carry than the 14ft surf poles.

Oh ! That's a good one.... you think it'd be like a wire nut, which follow's the theory of the standard thread principle's... but the world must teach all the people in the universe, that work on a bread assembly line, to loosely twist it backwards...

Easy, no filter, ok I can do this with my old drip O lator pot but not in any other pot I tried just makes the last half of cup a little crunchy.

Even more fun is tape, we ship alot of things, starting a roll of packing tape or regular tape almost requires a degree or just magic it seems. I did it yesterday for 5 minutes and it took a razor knife and patience plus rolling off a few rounds to get the full width of the tape.
