have the thermostat set @87` on the A/C in the doghouse...

  ... and it's comfortable.

was too cold in the house.  No idea what the temp is. We really don't want to know.  As long as it is better than outdoors, we're good.

just being out of the sun is good for a 40` difference.

Don't leave tools in the sun.

or loose change on the car seat.  You could have Jefferson branded to your butt.

uh huh!

This is an unusual year...  we're way up on precip... half again normal. 5in as opposed to 3in.   And cold [relatively]

They're calling for a chance of rain Monday.  That is strange, too. June is normally a time the weather forecasters can sleep. A version of the hippy dippy weatherman

Sunny [and hot] during the day. Dark [and cool] after sundown.

tamale casserole here

Don't know how to make that but I've made cornbread with the fajita seasoned pulled pork in it before that was similar. It's just not the heavy moist masa like fantastic tamales.

Burritos, tacos, frioles and rice today... with orange, lemon and lime slices to cut the ripe j a p s. Same thing tomorrow here also!

Yes, they take so long I do 4 at a time, put them in quart freezer bags for later since it does freeze well and the grandson loves it.

3.5 hours so far, but a long way to go.

I changed my menu, 3/2/1 baby backs on the pellet grill.

Cheap tamale casserole: Chile, tamales, chili, cheese and onions and bake it.

should've come out and closed the doghouse up earlier. A wee bit stuffy/warm. I'm glad to have the A/C, even if I don't really care for A/C. It's dry enough w/o the A/C.

waffling on the Heresy for the doghouse. A decent [if there is such a thing] pair of bookshelf would fit a lot easier. I already have 2lb of shit packed into the 1lb box. Spec on some are better than Heresy... specs aren't the whole story.

Amen!

the more I read of comparisons.... I got the golden ticket... first draw

repaired wife's dinner from last night. She made pot roast. She should have pulled it out earlier or later.

 side note

I have no idea why she fixes roast or soup when it's 100`.... none whatsoever

Made gravy out of the "drippings" [was more like rich soup stock], sliced the meat into it and called it open face roast beef sandwiches.

.... I'd be happy with a couple slices of sour dough bread, cheese, homegrown tomato and mayo between. We could prolly cook in the Weber w/o a fire. I bet it get 160` with the lid closed... and on.

Where's the bacon?
