Guess the days are over for me stumbling around in tent city looking my pillow!  .lolol  Today was a Bday party for my 7-year-old grandson.

"You might be getting old when..."

I had my 5yr old granddaughter making pancakes last night. I had to give the batter a final wisking.... but she poured and turned them.

Rained yesterday afternoon. Sun came back out and had time to recover... back to 100`, with a touch of humid. We can whine.... still not near what "humid" is in most of the country.

One of my cats came in with a problem. He couldn't raise his tail.  I thought a viagra might help.

.. vet said he got bit.

hoverflies are coming out.  lots of fun in the house.  Almost like T-ball using a flyswatter.  When you "get a hold" of one, you can hear them bounce the opposite wall.

Thanks guys! Yea it's tough when someone you love is in a bad way. Ladies in her family have lived into their early 90s on a regular basis and I do think she will get better. Just not today though.

Hope she can get home to go the few blocks to a clear view for the "3rd of July"  fireworks shot from Southpark mall every year.

I know I have alluded to spending hours weed whacking around the homestead. A fortunate thing happened this past week. My trimmer got so jammed that I had to take arc joint pliers and a hammer to it to get it apart. The head got damaged in the process so I went to buy a new one. Well low and behold someone finally invented a better mousetrap. The new head is much easier to load with line and it self winds the line with the perfect lay it needs to not jam. I was skeptical as the guy in the store was explaining it to me. But I have now used it on the rockiest portion of my property for several hours without 1 jam. Yea! On this portion of my property I would in the past had at least 5 jams if not 10 or 20. And every time thinking (or screaming) Somebody has got to be able to come up with something better than this! Well I think they finally have.

I bet it's Poulan ?

I only say this because Roy was telling me about one someone invented and sold to Poulan when he worked for them that was by far the best as far as loading and feeding out line without tangling.

Burt he may have sold it to someone else also?

I've had an Echo for the last couple years ever since I wore out my 4 stroke Ryobe.  I love the line load.  Just cut off 10 or 12 ft of string and pull one end half way through the head.  All you then is just wind the head and you're done.  None of the loading the trimmer spool and trying to get the ends through the little holes without unraveling.

Its a Honda 4 stroke. But the new head is an Echo just like yours. Last time I bought a new head these were not yet available or they would have sold me one then. The guys at the Ag store are definitely on top of this sheet. I live in an avocado/citrus/grape(wine) growing region.
