If we get a boat and put it in the parking lot for you to sit in, will you come to Hope in April and hang out with the derelicts and outcasts? There will be bourbon in the boat as well as plenty of ketchup too.

Strangely, (other than a cruise ship), I can only think of ONE time when I drank booze while on a boat. If I'm out deep sea fishing or just on a pleasure cruise on a private boat -- I don't drink. Now, if you guys want to rock the boat in the parking lot and spray some water to set the mood -- that would be tempting. oh yeah, I read an article the other day (can't recall where or who wrote it) but they said half of the whisky they tested was NOT as old as the label claimed. Don't know if that is industry wide or just specific to this one brand. But, this is social media, so I don't have to have all the facts before I can put a story out there.

Can I ride in the back while you tow me back to the West Coast? And before that crazy mind of you gets snarky, I'm not talking an aluminum row boat either. 45' minimum -- plenty of room on the deck for fishing and quality bait tank. Shouldn't set you back more than a few hundred grand.

I may have to boycott the Cruise to the Edge now. Not completely sure, but I think Michael Colter of Klipsch Forum fame has been on a previous cruise. Moderators dtel Posted February 11, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 11, 2020 Michael Colter goes on many of the rock cruises, never been on one myself. I could go on almost 3 normal 7 day trips for the price, BUT without that kind of shows. Dirtmudd's last pictures are NOT what you will see on a rock cruise. The rock cruise people are in it for the music, the girls in the last pic's I would guess in general are in it for money in one way or another. just a guess
Moderators dtel Posted February 12, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2020 Got to make some soap today, laundry detergent. (I'm easily entertained) All the stuff has been here for a while but we were out of town so I did it this morning. We did it a couple years ago and liked it, when it ran out we just bought the store stuff but recently decided to make it again. Going to send some to the kids, I made almost 20 gallons, the stuff works as well as any we have bought and it's cheap, about $40 to make 20 gallons.
JohnJ
Imagine you've found a way to make real detergent not that salt crap HE stuff that doesn't work on grass or mud. Did you use TSP?

It's the stuff that Tide and ever other kind of laundry soap That Worked was made with: Tri Sodium Phosphate. Mix it with real bleach to spray over what you're pressure washing wait five then hit it and you're done. Last time I bought some at a paint store it was fake I took it back and they exchanged for the real thing. It said imitation or something like that in the small fine print on the back. Why bother selling that if it doesn't work!

Drinking heavily is hard, it feels like it anyway. $2.99 is so cheap it makes me wonder, but on the other side people tend to pay alot of money for a brand name, good or bad i don't know. I don't know about this stuff either, all I knew is when we tried it last time it seemed to work. But with gallons around the best part was you never ran out and had to go to the store. Have enough of the mix left to make 50% more than the 20 gallons made today. .
