It is tough to let a project go, especially with all the parts collected for such.

But if it is not in the cards for you to complete it then you are making a wise decision.

I congratulate you on not being "that guy" who just hoards it, but selling it to someone who hopefully will finish the project.

Sometimes that still doesn't make it it any easier to sell.

Yes I did hoard parts... But a lot of

The time ... Buying the part you need..

You had to buy the whole lot..

And I do have a ultra rare ... Under hood insulation.... Only available

In British Columbia , or Alaska broncos.....

I started pulling out parts.... From my attic that I can't remember buying...

I gave more than a fair deal for everything....

I left a lot meat on the bone...

But if my b@#/$ get broken.... They

Better run to the bank.... Or get out !

This is very strange reading this, just last week in Hope Kevin's little brother Brandon brought a similar model, but his is the hardtop model. He brought it on a trailer to ride it around the property one more time because it's about to be painted.

That's why you wouldn't miss it.

It was the donor vehicle.... It was a local bronco... That was driven daily..

In the lovely central New York winters.... With extra salt on the roads....

My Olds has that buffed out bare metal look going. If I could keep resin/rubber on it. I need to replace the windshield wipers both times I use them per year.  I keep good ones for the rainy season and take them off after. Put dummies on. Just something to keep from scratching the glass.

Feelin' pretty OK today. Been out in the yard. Time to start softening the lawn to accept the summer rains.  I have very little topsoil, and like to keep it. We live on top of a little knoll.... or a big rock. I lean toward the latter. There is a rather ominous looking rock sticking up.... Gives the impression of being "the tip of the iceberg"...

Had you accumulated everything to complete the build? That quite a load.

I don't know whether to "like" or what. You gonna have some space, anyway.

I had enough to build 2 .. And start

A third....

Driveway is cleaned out... And cellar ,

Attic , and everything else at my fathers...

The four guys were crying ... That

They had to remove everything out

Of the cellar...

I laughed at them.... And said I put it

All here by myself....

Had more tire kickers... That would

Knock on the door . and ask if the bronco was for sale...

Then if they met the requirements..

And had knowledge of what it was..

I would proceed to tell them what else I had.. Then they were dumbfounded... And of course

I would say it's not for sale...

I wanted their communion money

For it !

I helped a friend build a ModelA pickup and a ModelT.  I think the single hardest part of either of those was fitting the body panels over the wooden frame. I don't remember which or both - it was a loooong time ago. 40 years maybe.

Mornin' All

House is cold and closed up. I have been out in the sun, making like a lizard....

Folded down the seat on the Versa and took a yardstick to it.  Them Scalas will, in theory, fit... IF they are not over 36 tall. 37in is pushing tolerances Do think a piece of ply between them and what they are resting on, might be prudent. It will be tight. I have some time to figure it out. A couple of cardboard boxes, the right size, will tell for sure.

We're in for more bad weather ...

pushing 3 mo w/o measurable precip ...  I mentioned our "bad weather" being too much sun and dry. Dry as a popcorn fart out there....  90`+, 9 or 10%R/H

I think the last rain was when @DizRotus was here for the wedding... that was March?

We have been dry here also, a sprinkle the other day is it for about the last 4 weeks. A little rain today but then a  80% chance for a couple of days then Tropical Storm conditions for a few days after that so we should get enough rain to make all the plants happy. It's rough on plants in spring when we have a drought and the temps go up, they don't get there normal start for the summer.

I could ask my nephew to schedule another wedding if you need rain.  When is the monsoon season?
