I'm not the only one....

warm up the kitchen. LR has the woodstove.   That keeps the coffee warm

Not bad this AM. Warm and overcast. 70` is predicted.

Felt rotten yesterday. Kinda how it is for me. Feel good and over do it. Then pay ... Back on my feet today.  Trying to get the garden turned. Season coming up fast. Should have tomatoes started already.  Need to have them established before the heat sets in. It's a little too warm to grow them. Oh, they grow... produce is the trick. Won't set fruit over a certain temp....  and those conditions don't happen until July, here. And then we do OK until the frost.... or grasshoppers.

Posted (edited)

It's all over the place I guess. After weeks of highs and lows in the fifties mostly sometimes only three degrees different it's gonna freeze @27 tonight then 23 tomorrow night. Slush called for Sat here.

Got good coffee again now, tuna tonight, have to go to the store. Two more packs of lasagna frozen that I can't thaw out yet plus two packs of ravioli in there and my fave, a Screamin' Sicilian Mambo Italiano pizza. Need to cook some chicken something or another and freeze it soon.

She can't stand to have Italian more than twice a month, I don't mind it twice a day anyday.

** too warm this winter, need a hard freeze for a month to kill all the darn bugs.

Doubt it Carl, I take care of my 84 year old mother. I can sneak garlic, tomato and basil anytime I need to😅

On the bright side, the dark-eyed juncos (slate group) are here.  They are a joy to watch being such beautiful birds.

He meant she would be locked up in the basement.  You can decide whether or not to take her to Carl's house.

I thought he meant he loved Italian food like I do. Heck I almost married one that made fresh pasta for me, broke free after a decade.

You do have to be very careful about marrying Italian.  Jewish is the same---I personally know of both, but it's not me---I ain't no senator's son.....
