Happy Friday to all....

Working on 2nd cup......The BOSS and I will go to the shop together this morning. My daughter is off school on Fridays. So The BOSS does not have to go to mom. I still have to pick up the kids and get them back to the house for the bus. Took care of that at 8:00...

I tell ya Rog as far as putting mom in a home that's not in the plan. My eldest daughter will not even discus it. She says she will never allow it. Mom seems to be back to her old self before she got sick two weeks ago. Now back to her old self means she's laughing and talking again. She still makes no sense..... but she seems happy again. The BOSS and I know there might be a time were my daughter/us will not be able to handle mom..... and we don't know when this will be. I do not wish the passing of my mother-in-law but when it gets to a point were the is NO quality of life I just hope she doesn't suffer.

Hey not trying to drag everyone down..........I've been on this earth long enough to know that.....this shitt aint easy......life is and good and life sucks. Just me talking about it here with you guys helps me.....Thanks.......

Hey were good.......hey it's Friday and I got some work at the shop :emotion-21:

I'll pump the Carver watts to the KP-362's this afternoon with some Prince :emotion-29:  :emotion-29:  :emotion-29:  :emotion-29:

Later guys.....

MKP :-)

OK, the Bunn A10, commercial pour pour over 10 cup maker is available from Target.com for ~$220, while a Bunn 10 cup "velocity brew" maker is about half the cost. What is the difference?

"pour over" is that sorta like a comb over?

Good outcome wishes for your parents Travis and for your crucial meeting as well.

LF looked at the Bunn yesterday.....one with an insulated carafe....$132.71 BT Velocity Brew 10 cup.  5 stars.

Hey Chuck....hope you are feeling better!

Where you be Steve?

Where is billybob and duder?

Great weekend coffee buds.

I don't understand comb-overs.  The practitioners are vain enough to be worried about appearing bald, but deluded enough to believe they're fooling anyone.  Gene Keady was one of the worst.  How could he not see how ridiculous he looked when he saw himself on TV?  Fortunately, after he retired as Purdue's coach, he married a woman who set him straight.  IMO,  bald and grey Keady, sans comb-over, looks much better than the shellacked jet black cartoon in the comb-over days.

Good TGIF morning to you all, my friends!  :emotion-44: :emotion-44: :emotion-44:

I am  sorry for not being in communication, but read at least the last page to catch up moments ago...

We are here in Las Vegas! 7:45am. pacific..

The Suncoast Hotel/casino is a place like I have NEVER BEEN PERIOD!!  Everything is HUGE and bigger then life!!

The red carpet event and movie premiere was last night, people dressed to the nines, we got to hang with Neil Diamond's bass player, pianist and percussionist

The large movie theater (one of 10 in the hotel!!!) was filled and a reserved seating area for the artists was set.   So, here we all were, the 13 featured tribute singers, members of Neils band either side of us and our first time seeing the 'director's cut 2 hour movie   After the show, the movie producer spoke from up front and talked about the project and thoughts on the future of the show going on the road and a possible world tour!

This is all very wonderful.   Been shooting videos and taking photos with two cameras and archiving to the laptop...

The equipment company dropped off all the gear yesterday, but because of the UNION stage, we could not go back and set anything up.  Today however it should work out and me and fellow keyboardist will setup in a private dressing room to go over the show all day.

Tomorrow is setup on the stage, soundcheck by 10am. and then the ALL DAY rehearsal with all performers will take place.  :wacko2:   A two hour break and then showtime..!

There are 11 restaurants in this complex and tonight I plan on eating in the upscale Italian business this evening  :emotion-21: ...but staying away from vino since last Friday, and with good reason. :huh2:

Ok, I know I have to get some photos going for you all, I will try to pick something from the library and share here

Off to breakfast at a bagel eatery this morning..............I get to talk around in my 'crocks' with no socks all day, very comfy

Have a good day everyone......  I will check in again at some point.

......Gary

Comb-over?  You want comb-over?   I will build the biggest, best comb-over in history!  And I will get Mexico to pay for it!!   Hahahahahahahahah!!!

Done for the day and cracked a new bottle of Tullamore D.E.W., to bad I'm working tomorrow.  Out of respect for Carl, I will refrain from posting comments that could be taken as critical towards any female, lying, evil, fugly, useless, criminal politician that may or may not be running for any office, now, or at any other point in time. Let's stay on topic.  :P  I will also not make any comments about any male, lying, delusional, bum, even if they would have a name that's a combination of two sesame street characters ( like Oscarbird) or something like that.  I've got more important things to do.

I'd need to research but I think the velocity brew is a conventional coffeemaker, not a pour over.

Nope, it's a pour over like the A-10 from what I've read.  It appears to be a home version of the commercial A-10.

After reading about this the other day i went looking myself, I found the same thing, the way it put the water over the beans, how it warms it to be ready fast  is the same, the only difference I could find was the price and the A-10 is commercial and will probably out last the owner.

After reading about all the different models i got tired and started loosing track of comparing features and just decided to stick with my old Drip-O-Lator, it has no features, buttons or even a plug and requires no filters. It was my grandfathers so it will probably outlast me also.

My thoughts as well.  Small appliances are like tools.  I've bought cheap and middle of the road ones over the years.  I always end up buying them again when they wear out or break.  I try to buy decent quality stuff now.  It's a little more up front but you normally only buy them once.

Sounds like someone doesn't appreciate anyone who buys all of her colthing at 'Pantsuit Patty's Pantsuit Emporum' where their motto remains 'All Pantsuits, All The Time'.  ;)
