MKP - which JBL do you speak of? Making Chorus sound like bookshelves! Or is this tongue-in-cheek?

Well..... maybe a "slight" exaggeration on my part:D

While the Chorus are chest pounders...........the JBL's are foundation shakers:o

I should have said the JBL's make the Chorus sound like a Heresy....

                                    Here they are............

Very well done.

I had a pair of those Chorus, drove all the way to Eugene to fetch them @ an ebay price of $500, just sold them to a youngin just getting into audio for 3Bones.

Seeing where i am now, these never stood a chance for my listening pleasure.

The wife ask just the other day, are WE done yet?

Well babe, im good for the momment.

I have a 20 year old daughter. Her, and her Mom, my wife, would freak out if they knew even 1% of the stuff I did in my younger days. Life was easier back then.

Yeah well same here.

In the OC, later days, being a sheriff, talking to other sheriff's, same story.

We would just end up speechless as to our childhood(s).

that's when I stopped drinking....

You are to be commended MKP.  Getting on top of any addiction is difficult.

My older sister and a good friend were both unable to conquer their respective alcohol problems.  Each had the motivation of a new grandchild, but that was not enough.  They were unable to see that alcohol made their problems more difficult to address, not easier to endure.

+1 doesn't go far enough.

I have a lot of respect for you not only for beating the alcohol, but for having the courage to talk about it.

funny, that was 27 years ago.... I'll be 54 this June 1st and that's when I stopped drinking....

You caught on at a younger age than I did, Mark. It's been 21 yrs for me and I stopped in June as well. We need to talk off line one of these days. :) There is indeed a life after booze.

I haven't had a flu shot in several years but this year two doctors in the same office said I really should get one and a pneumonia vaccine as well.  I relented and got one of each Friday.  Spent the next 48 hours feeling bad, sleeping a lot, and little food.  Just now feeling half way okay.

What has been your experience with these vaccines?  Did they make you sick?

Never had a problem with the flu vaccine, and I'm sure I'm a few years older.  Never have had a pneumonia vaccine, actually didn't even know they were available.....Hope you feel better soon.

LOVE YOUR MONKEY!!!

Your the first one that has seen that.

Now the real truth of the matter is........That is a large teddy bear and a target.

When the wife and i go shooting, we stop by the thrift store and buy a trash bag full of stuffed critters.

At the shooting place, on the tailgate of my truck, i gut the critters and stuff-in 1/2 charges of Tannerite.

We then place critters all over the mountain side and proceed in "Furr Making".

One hit from a .17HMR <smaller/faster than 22>   And wham.....Furrrrrrr

The Teddy Bear was for a 2Lb charge :)
