OK mechanic types need your help. I need a hydraulically powered tool such as a porta-power that has a "C" clamp device with at least a 7" opening. This will be to press out the bolt pictured below. A manual C clamp doesn't have the power needed. Can you lead me to such a device? I REALLY do not want to remove the landing gear.

A mechanics Ball Joint press, they come in many different designs, this can be rigged to preform your function.

Applying a a bit of pressure and giving it a hammer tap, titen, tap again, use this all the time.:emotion-21:

Sorry for double post but in my haste I added to the wrong thread. So again -

ATTENTION - MinerMark Voltage Check (MMVC)  // 124 //  --- and the Jubes are diggin' it --

That's some good voltage, plugged into the same outlet as the load?

Something like a press used for bearings with the hydraulic jack but with the rest of the stand cut off was my first thought.

Like a porta-power but with a frame that would fit, probably would have to be made. With a hole cut into the top so the bolt could come out as pumped.

Same idea is this, almost

An outlet four feet away, I assume same line ? I ain't no electrician, kinda' scared of the blue fire -

It only hurts for a minute.

Just checked three different circuits, it first says 118 then stops at 119, it is what it is, no blue flame with that familiar zapping sound that is never good.

A little shock therapy never hurt anyone, ok maby it has ?

There's a vaccination for that.

Yes there is, I had it over 20 year ago on my back, hurts, not the shot .

It's a form of herpes, obviously not the worst kind, go ahead let the jokes start....probably should not have said that part.

Ah come on, just drop the landing gear. I mean really, how hard can That be ?!

Not as easy as it seems but the hard part is suspending it somehow to maneuver that part into a press. My mechs have "engineered" a tool and it is ever so slowly coming out. The enerpac clamp required (as Carl pointed to) is not in town, about 7 grand and the clamp alone weighs 200 lbs
