Not having clay bar lube I tried Carl's suggestion and tried soap and water. I had a Dawn bottle nearly empty so filled it with water and shook it up.  Working small areas and wetting the car surface and clay bar it went well.  One downside is the bar is very slippery and if it hits the ground instructions say to toss it.  Now I feel safe enough to use it on the S2000.

The clay works well when you get the hang of it.   It'll leave a very glassy finish.  Once you're done, it's as clean as it will ever be do put a coat of wax on it.  The reason they want you to throw the bar away if you drop it is because it will pick up sand or dirt and scratch the finish.

Getting ready to put the last 3 rows of flooring down.

Looks good Carl but I heard the wife wants you to re-paint those walls again. I so remember those areas of matching rooms and flow thru. I did kitchen / pantry - living / dining / entry / hall / bedroom - bedroom / sitting room without a transition. Took some creative carvings.

Just saw a funny commercial for E-Trade. Guy is on plane with bratty kid behind him kicking the seat. He can see the bliss of First Class and walks up there. The flight attendant walks towards him smiling. When she gets to him, she pulls the curtains shut.  Text comes on the screen saying “First Class is there to remind you that you’re not in First Class."

The wife does all the painting.  I do everything else.

Looks good Carl. Glued to concrete? I like that finish, don't think I've seen that before.

Yes.  It's a glue down solid floor.  The planks are half inch thick tongue and groove which makes the last row a challenge especially with a door.

Carl--come visit me. I was trying to hang my guitars on the living room wall.  Managed to get two of the hooks installed. Cut thumb and patience wore off real quick.

It would be better for you to come here for training.

So the big river in S. America knocked on the door and I received a package.
Now I know that a few people on this forum know my real name and have my address so I can narrow it down a bit.
I have my suspicions but let's just say THANKS. I will have to drop my man card and read instructions!

edit: I just looked at this; there are NO scratches on my KHorns; must be reflections.
