Up date on the Jakester.  Took him in and the tech shaved his stomach in preparation for the procedure.  Then the vet comes in and states that the specialist who was to do the ultra sound husband tested positive for Covid so the procedure was cancelled.  Jake is feeling better and getting his meds wrapped in turkey bacon so we will hold off for a bit.  Seems fine by Jake!

At least he got manscaped.

Now and again I record the show BattleBots just for fun and hit the FF til I see something interesting, such as this recent bout.  Just for your info, these things can weigh in at 250 and 300 pounds or more.  One of them has a flame thrower that took a hit, as you'll see.

Perhaps too many martuni's Chuck?

Bittersweet day here yesterday.  The famous cat that fell thru the Heresy bass speaker hadn't been eating so took her to the vet yesterday. Was just crazy.  Tried another kind of high dollar food then some high dollar canned stuff.  I thought a tooth or something then found out when the vet picked her up she had a large tumor attached to her kidney and into her intestine.  The real reason she wasn't eating.  Either try to keep her alive for about a month or give her the shot of pink stuff.  She had a good life driving me insane.  Guess now I won't have to watch cat hairballs rolling across the floor like tumbleweed.  Kinda miss her being around actually.

@Dave1291 It's like losing a family member.

I've told my wife several times that when my current 4 legged son goes we're not getting another.  Time will tell if I'm strong enough to pull that off.

I swore the same after losing our Golden several years ago. And we were traveling a fair amount then (remember that - traveling) and I never had the heart to keep her at a kennel. So far we’ve kept to our word and I don’t see that changing — .

Suggestion.....go to the kennel and pick the dog who has been there the longest.  Make his last years the best!

My last two rescues (both Jakes by coincidence) were 7 and 9 when I got them.

BTW......Jake #2 is doing better.....more active and eating baked chicken and turkey bacon but little else.

Happy Friday to all here at Klipsch Forum.

I love the W4S MS. I think Roon Music Player on the Mac Min and Music Server on the W4S is so much better than running Channel D Pure Music on the Mac Mini.

The sound coming from the RF-7ii's is really really good.
