if I was that hairy, I wouldn't need to wear a sarong.

........... a collar, maybe...

kinda cruisin'. Dinner was made two days ago.

Ran a couple loads of laundry... basked in the sun a little. It's about 75` and sunny. The solar dryer in working great.. 15%R/H. Things are starting to green up. It is a pretty short putt, but there are little green things sticking out of the ground.

We do have a wet season in the winter. The Tucson Rodeo and the pro golf tournament usually mark the end of it. One year, they had to delay tee off... it snowed

I'm crushed...

Amber has been calling me... and I want to make a date with her

... and then I asked one of her "specialists" is Amber was a robot... He said Yes.

I'm in a position of "making hay while the sunshines" today ... Domestic stuff. Laundry and housekeeping.

And then we have to start the garden... happens early. I have daffodils coming up.

Boy is tackling a water pump replacement on his truck. A "straight forward" job... except it is a Ford. Every accessory on the engine is bolted to it. Told boy to remember what came from where... Label bags, color code...pictures. Oh... I volunteered to help. Not do the work. I think this is his first attempt to do any kind of engine work. It is taking a lot of guidance. His first lesson was how to remove the belts. Then it got fun. The fan, clutch and fan shroud had to come out all at the same time. Now, we can see all of the brackets attached to the water pump... Ford makes a good product... I hate working on them.

Weather is supposed to be wet/cold for a few days, starting Sunday.

I like working on cars.

Except when I hate working on them.

My first attempt at any automotive work was to turbocharge my 83 Volvo station wagon with factory parts from the junkyard.

The stock automatic transmission didn’t really appreciate the extra hp/tq so my next project was to convert it to a manual transmission.

Next was a full standalone engine management system controlling fuel and spark I could tune with my laptop and a wideband o2 sensor.

It got a rally cam and full exhaust I had shipped over from Sweden 🇸🇪 and I upgraded most of the suspension too while I was at it.

Fun times until someone in a grand marquis merged into me on I-75 one night on my way down to Marvel’s place to pick up my truck to help a buddy move.

I rolled through a couple trees and came to a stop upside down and crawled out my window in one piece.

The back end of it wasn't much better. That was sad to see after all the work you had put into it.

Glad you came out alive.  Could easily have not have been in the cards. Them grand nationals were no joke back then and mods were not uncommon...

all of that and the four door still opened and the windows still rolled up and down.

My guardian angel was definitely along for the ride that night.

Next time ur at the golf tournament in Phoenix wearing that sarong slip up to the 16th hole.  Just tell em you want to talk to that beautiful girl who runs the hole cause you have a msg from her dad.  THAT should start the controversy!  Before you left though you both would be laffin your rears off.  You could make some cash when she markets your sarong to the PGA.  16th is the locals hole every day and it's insanity for a week with the fans and the players.  She's there for a reason.  Think mini me and gorgeous.  hahaaha

You got that right.  All you could do is ride it out.  The fact you walked away from it really is amazing.

been a good day to stay inside --- the last couple days. Not terribly cold, not warm, either. Wet, cloudy and windy.

Glad there are ball games on today. Def NOT Chamber of Commerce weather. IF this continues, we could have a green spring. Then we have to watch for sightseers parked in the middle of the road, taking pics of the wildflowers. Why do they park in the middle of the road? ...Because there are flowers growing on the shoulder.....they don't want to drive over them... so what, that there is a million acres more of them...

George must still be on his birthday bash... Aussie style. Birthdays are a week long.

51 here today?  I'll take it!  The T-Rex?  Nope think I'll save my energy.  Think I'll throw this one on instead.  :)   Nothing like rollin out at 11 after a rough night.  😂  This one came to mind from 1963 then I remembered Linda nailin it 10 years later.  Today though they both kinda work.  Even got a lil sun out there.  What's in your wallet?  😂

Nuttin skeered Linda she just put on her smiley face and nailed everything in her own way!  What a difference 12 years makes.   :)

Wait there's a youtube thread?  Droppin it right here!  It's a heat wave!  Enjoy!  :)

The Rascals or Pat Benatar?

I'd like to hear Felix's vocals with Benatar's band..... @MicroMara can you do some magic?

our weather is.... better? it stopped raining. the wind finally let up. Now, the cold phase of the storm. Crispy cold AMs... and not very warm afternoons. Won't be leaving the doors and windows open
