Thundershowers woke me and the rain on the metal roof put me back to sleep `till almost 11.

That Little Rock twister was pretty big in the video from the hospital. Sometimes spring can be volatle.

No coffee yet but the tea is steeping, got a chicken to cook so I'll have coffee with my dinner I guess.

A place back home that made pot pies and served coffee got me hooked on the two together! It probably reached cult status being in the "cool & trendy" part of downtown.

It was the first sunny day with a few clouds only in the sky for weeks. I took advantage of this beautiful weather for a walk to our nearby lake reservoir.  The snow melt from the nearby mountainous highlands is still going on , the weir had to be opened to let the water masses flow down into the valley

After my extensive walk I treated myself to a latte macchiato. There is a mobile coffee - bike bar at the lake , I was lucky that he had put today at this point his mobile coffee bike. The Latte Macchiato was exquisite.

Some friends of mine have been to the house of mugs!

As a potter in a former life I rotate through a small mug I made c.1994, a mug I bought a year or so back from one of my former pottery instructors, a mug @Marvel and Carna gave me that they brought back from China, and a Saab mug I got from one of the Psych professors at the college I used to work at.

The House of Mugs in Collettsville, NC.   Lookie what I found @Tarheel!  Next time you get that bubble out and you're looking for a road trip?  I got ya hooked right up!  :)

Half the time of my day I spend 'Now, where did I leave my mug?' looking for it. Well, I don't mind as long as there's good music blasting through my Klipsch speakers!

Note: no speaker veneer was damaged during the taking of this picture!

Yes Sir , we´re living in  Witten and Yes Sir , it´s quiet beautiful here and closed by the 3rd. biggest ( after London & Paris ) multicultural metropolitan center of Europe, the " Rhine / Ruhr area. Krupp was based here, they built the tanks for Hitler here, for this reason the Allies bombed almost the entire Ruhr area in WW II.
