LOL Went out to dinner last night, did a little shopping and then home for our typical night of music, dancing and singing. Our time with her is always special, and the fact that she absolutely loves music makes it all come together. I may have had a little influence since she's been born and she turns 4 next month. Drum kit is her birthday present from me, but won't be a surprise, since we spent time picking it out together. At her age, the right color pink was an essential part of the decision. I gave the granddaughter an electronic keyboard. I'm trying to get her interested in music. When I was a kid, we had a piano to play with. Only one [of 4] took to it. Not me....Dad wanted me to play a horn... My teeth prevented that. Never got a full set of adult chompers. Missing 2 ... right in the bottom middle. Not to mention, I knocked a baby incisor out... They aren't as bad as when it started back in 08 or 09. & I don't have to do those contortions every time anymore... but it must be a forever thing like bursitis or any of the other things we just get dealt! Actually wonder if I ate to much blotter or dots that one summer in 1979. And not bingeing on any one fad for this month and another for the next. My brother is seven years younger and he does that and has a beer gut without the joy of beer. For cardio reasons that's sometimes called the widow-maker. The bonehead won't contemplate the issue when it's brought up by me. Nature is a balance, and we're part of it if you think about it! Shucked the shirt and caught some sun while I put a quart of varnish on out dried out porch swing.85`, a gentle breeze and no humidity = no working time... If I want color, I'll do the trim in a color. ..... our living room was off white, until I pulled the 1/4in plywood down to reveal redwood.
