Dave1291
Hang in there @JohnJ someone's gonna get it all figured out. Hopefully sooner than later. Been about a week since my eye surgery and the big black dot in the eye is slowly going away just like my eyemama said it would. The older you get the more you just stare in disbelief at today's technology. Freaks me out totally so can't imagine what you're going thru. Keep the faith cause you're not goin anywhere!
Dave1291
Debby get ya wet down there @Tarheel? What's shakin on your end? I'm still lookin for @grasshopper's info. Might have to check my old cell and see if it's in there now. I KNOW he gave it to me but man I can't find it anywhere.

Not much... the last bloodwork I had (in July) was good enough that the urologist told me I don't need to come back unless I feel like I NEED to see them. The radiation oncologist sent a letter that has a Jan. 2025 appointment date. So they've lengthened how often we meet. So I'm feeling pretty good. 4
Tarheel
Yep we have had rain for about two weeks straight. Little tired of it. Happy to see the yard guy got my grass cut and then as I get back to LF's place her yard folks were finishing up. Doesn't take much to excite me these days. Heck I was even happy to see the bug man come to spray the critters.

Said things looked great so I mentioned the black spot in the middle of my eye was shrinking just like she said it would. Then told her I was skeered sheetless but we'd been together soooo long I knew she wouldn't screw up. So she was laffin big time at me. Right eye prolly in September sometime but that's a guess. 20/20 in the left today and 20/65 in the right. I actually thought it was the better of the two prior to surgery. Today I couldn't see squat out of it. 😂

And the husky wee-wee I mean the doggie wee-wee Has blinded me And I can't see Temporarily" Well, the fur-trapper stood there, with his arms outstretched across the frozen white wasteland, trying to figure out what he was going to do about his deflicted eyes. And it was at that precise moment that he remembered and ancient Eskimo legend, wherein it is written (on whatever it is that they write it on up there) that if anything bad ever happens to your eyes as the result of some sort of conflict with anyone named Nanook, the only way you can get it fixed up is to go Trudging across the tundra Mile after mile Trudging across the tundra Right down to the parish of St. Alphonzo

Nanook? C'mon man you can do better! 😂 It fits me just a lil bit better. 😂 T -2 and counting. Duckburg's Bratwurst Festival begins Thursday thru Saturday and I can't wait! 😂 250k coming to town to party once again. About 8- 10 tons of brats goin down along w/who knows how many gallons of beer being sold by vendors, local bars and whoever. Tap trucks everywhere along w/bands on 3 stages downtown not to mention the local clubs with their groups on stages. For a town of 12k it's truly an amazing schiit show w/people coming in from everywhere. Tons of repeat offenders from all points South heading to lake Erie for the weekend? Funny. May as well start the wkend w/a good time then an hour drive North to the lake. Morons! Thanks for droppin some cash no git! lol Then the OVI checkpoints? The troopers, SO and a couple local PD boys just motion them into a couple of the bigger parking lots just outside of town. Ohio's recreational pot is gonna be werkin this year but yea ok??? Tell me more about the law young man? You're ripped! 😂 The best part of it all? Grabbin a big mugga and slippin downtown to watch the local fire department drive down that million dollar mile long stretch of dying businesses washing the smoke, grease and grime off the front of the stores. Prolly the most work they do all year. Warms my heart! Yea, welcome to Duckburg. Doesn't get much better than this! Dave1291
All quiet in Duckburg. The calm before the storm. lol Low 80s today and tomorrow. Friday and Saturday it looks like its gonna be a very wet festival. It won't stop 'em though unless it's a total downpour. Crazy!
Dave1291
Forgot to post this a couple weeks ago but hat's off to those Arkansas growers for the nice mater's I picked up at my lil deli. NOTHING better than a great turkey sammich w/a gob or horseradish and a nice juicy tasty mater on 45 grain bread! Think my jaw dropped a lil bit when I took the sticker off. Not only can they build killer speakers but grow some awesome maters in a pinch! Yea, I know. Just sharin the love! 😂
