He’s got a dozen or so collectible motorcycles that he rides as well including a Confederate Wraith and a 1946 Indian. 3

I had a line on a Dino an old woman had in Columbus but her son-in-law took it for some stupid reason. I was told he just liked the looks of it that's why he wanted it. The guy who told me about it was a dealer and friend of the family. He wasn't making a dime on the deal cause I'd told him for years I wanted it if anything happened to her. Nope, he really wasn't makin a nickel cause he wanted my 928 back cause he was the first owner. I could have strangled that dude. I'd seen the car and driven it before she passed. Crazy! Prolly junk now. lol That dude has too much money!
Tarheel
Quote A high school senior vacationing with his family at Wrightsville Beach was loaned a Porsche Taycan (not sure by whom) lost control at a high rate of speed. Demolished a second story porch, hit the adjacent house, and landed upside down. Neither the boy nor the Porsche survived.
MicroMara
I can leave the hospital tomorrow morning. I am surprised myself how well I have survived the operation on my back, of course I still have pain from the wounds, that is clear, but the nerve pain in my back that I have been tormented with every day for over a year really doesn't seem to exist any more ..... Maybe I am just imagining it because I take a high concentration of painkillers and opium derivatives every day. Anyway, at the moment I'm feeling quite well and hope to be over it in three or four weeks. 1
Dave1291
Atta boy @MicroMara I KNEW you'd make it! Wean yourself off the meds slowly and relax allllll ya can. Keep up the good work and someday you'll be bionic too! My right eye is next and I'll be back to 20/20 again in both and done with the floaters. Can't wait. Then they'll install the lasers and i'll be complete! Until... 😂 6 hours ago, Tarheel said: Neither the boy nor the Porsche survived. Yea, prolly watching too many "Fast and Furious" movies. Whoever loaned him the ride will have to deal with that for the rest of their life. A good friend's son wanted to borrow my 928 for the prom one year. I said nope. His dad kinda looked at me cause he was standing there ad the kid couldn't believe I told him no. Finally asked me why so I told him he'd wind up dead and I'd have to live with it. They both thought it was funny. Take the family's old Ford station wagon w/the full Vista-Cruise package like I did. Whatever shakes out on that deal Chuckie I smell a lawsuit. That's nuts and he was flyin for sure. Got a call once when I was shooting to go get an accident photo. Guy hit a tree w/a plastic pig. I got there and they were gone w/the body but he hit a 2/ wide maple tree 8' up into the tree so he was airborne when he hit it. That Vette disintegrated on impact and was spread 20 yards everywhere. Insane debris field to mop up.
Marvel
I always hated filming the results of accidents when I was working for the tv stations. I saw some pretty grim scenes back in the day. 1

Dave1291
Welcome to Duckburg and the annual Bratwurst Festival. This posted yesterday on fb from the Festival HQ. Naturally there is that one "Karen" on city council who objects to everything the city wants to do followed by her own lil cult. A few weeks ago she was actually asked by council to leave and refused so was escorted out by the police chief. 😂 She doesn't care about the festival nor does she care about the economic impact on this small Ohio town and it's local businesses. Not to mention all the schools and clubs who make money to support their causes. Crazy for sure. Yea, Duckburg. It's a hoot! I've NEVER seen anyone under 21 buying beer anywhere. They're ALL carded and legit at the time of sale. Breaking News: The Festival Grinch Strikes Again! It’s official—someone in town is determined to make the Bratwurst Festival as joyless as possible. The latest? The Festival Grinch decided to call in the state liquor police on our Beer Garden. Because, you know, heaven forbid people enjoy themselves. Spoiler alert: We were *completely* cleared. Yup, everything was done by the book. But thanks to this little stunt, we've had to change things up. Now, our Beer Garden is 21+ from 4-11 PM. We’re genuinely upset by this because, believe it or not, we just want everyone to have a great time. To the families who wanted to jam out together, we’re really sorry, but our hands are tied. So, dear Festival Grinch, we see you. Nice try, but we’re not letting you steal our fun. The festival goes on—rules followed, spirits high, and bratwursts sizzling. Yup, welcome to Ohio! The Heart of It All 😂

Gas, Grass or *** did not even work! Had friends get married that would buy a new car to share... but that late 60s Mopar or early 70s 396 or 454 would be in the garage for sunny days only!
Dave1291
Fun day yesterday w/the hearing aid crew. Nuff said on that one. More to come, which should be funny. Then the monthly text msg from the lawn care service, which is turning into another wallet rape. 😂 The grass grows without rain and the groud ivy has doubled in size. Sounds about right. Can't get much better than that. Next year I go back to work. 5 times a summer at 110 a trip? Seriously? Back to the Cub Cadet and spreader. I got this. Crazy for sure. Life? Yea, turning into another laffer. It ALWAYS sorts kinda maybe. Coffee's good though.

Dave1291
Blah, it's just coffee right? Sun's up in Duckburg and it's a balmy 65 @ 11AM? No problem, back up into the mid-80's in the next couple days. Zero rain thru next week? Won't be long and the down hill slide begins.
