Hornmiester
Morning Gang: Looks to be heating up again around these parts, not 100s just close. First El-cheapo set of EAW crossovers are on the way for experimenting along with 100 buck Cap, Inductor selection. Nothing serious planned for the EAWs yet, however im being directed by EAW employee(s) to see if I like the sound of the conversion first. Looks like everyone has their summer projects going, also appears Eth2 has survived the pressure washer chore, so , Earl a 50 Horse Merc is next right? 30' Sea Ray with twin 350's. Four barrel carbs are great on 89 octane gas, which is selling for $5/gallon on the lake. By the way, ALWAYS wear shoes when using an 1800 psi pressure washer. I didn't and my feet look like raw meat. How about you ETH2? 30' w/twin 350s! that sucker must fly ! Can pass anything on the water except a gas pump

eth2
We'll another Friday dawns. I have come to fear weekends. In January I was 220 pounds which, for me, was blimp like. So I went on a diet, lost 40 pounds and am now close to where I should be. But weekends present a challenge. I lose the restraint I have Monday to Friday and revert to my old habits just to have to pay for it the following week. Oh, what the hell, how much damage can you do in 48 hours?

The wife and I have been doing well to the point of twice a month going out. This time round we are waiting for Reno on the 4th, Chef food and massive drinking will be involved.
eth2
Yes, the sun has been up since 5:00 when we went for our walk. Just got back. It was 45 degrees when we went outside - back in house - sweat pants and sweat shirts.

I have that problem with smoking, and drinking, none through out the week, but when the weekend comes. Even worse when I am drinking. If I don't drink I don't smoke. One of the many challenges in life. Good luck to your diet.

Moderators dtel Posted June 20, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) 180 + or - 15 is not bad for our age. I was 45 pounds more than that when I got out of HS. 255 now trying to get back to 220-230 would be great. It's happening but at about 3 pounds a week at the most, good enough considering I never started exercising again yet, I hate that part. minermark
Iv never really had enough weight to worry about, yeah around 220, up and down. If I have one fear in life its the indian casino(s). Gambling.....Nope Drinkin.........Nope Chef(s) both dinner and desert, bas-tards, the wife will spend $60 gambling, ill bring home $60 bucks in Teramasu alone. And lets not even get into the choc cake part. These places WILL be my undoing.

I had the same problem, quit smoking for 6 months one year, new years eve came with a few drinks and I was smoking again. tried the e cigs and smoke that now, not perfect but better. I smoking the e cig much less than the real thing. It's been over a year now and even in the first month I felt the same as when I quit cigarettes the first time, if I smoke a real one now I get dizzy and feel bad. There not perfect but better then real cigarettes for sure, you can feel the difference, and about 20% the cost without the bad smell.

It was my grandson who tried it and brought me some saying try it you will love it, he was right.
minermark
Desert Chefs will be my undoing.
Moderators dtel Posted June 20, 2014 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2014 Don't usually go for deserts, probably why it took me so long to find Teramasu, for me it's meat, beef, pork, chicken or fish. It's rare for me to even get to deserts. Well if you like deserts restaurants like in casinos or on a cruise ship is even harder with the large variety. On ships they even set out tables of different deserts at night sometimes which by that time of day it's harder to skip after a rough day of relaxing with a few adult beverages.
