Loudogp250
I am looking for a pair of Vintage Heritage or 3 way Klipsch for a 2 Channel living room system. I'm looking at the older models to stay within my budget. I am willing to drive from Cincinnati, OH.
Budman
hey Lou, i'll keep an eye out for ya i know where a nice set of cornwalls are BUT the price is outrageous Edited February 8, 2014 by Budman
ryanm84
My wife would like me to sell you my 1980 Cornwalls with crites crossovers and recently redone walnut veneer (originally birch) and new grilles! Good choice including heritage in your search. I've enjoyed heritage and even the "extended" heritage for 25 years and you really can't go wrong no matter the budget or space. KGs, chorus, forte, Cornwall, heresy all sound great and of course as you move up the ladder to scala, belle, or k-horn you are at the top of the heap. Loudogp250
Thanks Budman. I sold a beautiful pair of the Forte II last year and now I really miss the 3 way sound . Ryanm84 PM sent.
ryanm84
I responded. Not really a selling situation but I hate having my speakers just hanging out not being used.

Woofers and Tweeters
That was the first time that I A/B the Forte 1 and 2. After hearing them, I would have bought what you did, too. Loudogp250
Bob Crites diaphragms have been ordered... So excited..
John Chi-town
The BC Titanium tweeters are a nice upgrade, but replacing the phenolic squawker diaphragms with new Klipsch Titanium diaphragms is a much more noticeable improvement. You may want to consider upgrading the caps on the crossovers as well. Best regards, John
Loudogp250
John, Where can I purchase the squawker diaphragms?
John Chi-town
Directly from Klipsch. Call the 800 number and select parts. They run about $170.00 a pair or so. Or you can order the entire driver and diaphragm for about $10.00 more a pair and have an extra set of drivers. These are the K53-TI drivers which are used in the cornwall III.

He started a post, which was pointed to me by Carl and I wound up owning a pair of La Scala that I was not even looking for. I tell ya there's more then just a couple more that'll help ya find ways to spend your money like any Friend would. Not that I'm sorry. It's just ya got to watch em. John Reading posts from either of these two may unexpectedly influence your spending, acquisitons, or knowledge. Follow at own risk!
