babadono
Youthman, Does the power input say "230 V 50 HZ"?

Moderators Youthman Posted February 12, 2014 Author Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2014 Yes it does. What does that mean?
babadono
Youthman Well I am not completely positive but i would think it needs 230v 50Hz power to operate. Perhaps it was built for the European market. I would call Klipsch before plugging it in to 115v 60Hz USA power. Anybody else got reservations? babadono
wstrickland1
I might be wrong but I think it means they only run on 230v and won't operate on a standard 110v outlet
wstrickland1
oops, I duplicated your post. Actually I'm positive that won't work. In fact I think you'll find that the plug won't even fit a standard outlet.
babadono
Of course it could be a typo mistake. but that is pretty important stuff.

babadono
Youthman, So you think it is a typo? That's just weird. But I'm happy for you. Have fun. I would still call Klipsch and find out what the deal is. Oh and did I say those things are gorgeous! I sure wish Klipsch would make subs like this again in cherry to go with the RF7-IIs.
