1HOHDude
This one appears to have died but I just replaced my K33s from my TSCMs [One 84 and one 85] with the cast frame Crites' woofers and the result was for the better.
jjbn50
Just wondering if anyone has used these K -33 speakers in a la sala cabinet and if that’s possible?

Which ones are you asking about? Many different K-33 versions are mentioned here. Bruce
Coytee
Wouldn't they all be interchangeable? Honest question.... through ignorance, I don't know how much difference is allowed in some of those specs before it makes a genuine difference. I would have thought that a K33 is a K33 is a K33 with round/square magnet being more of an emotional issue not technical. ??

Coytee
Well, then if the round/square might have some technical differences, do they make a difference? If they do, then does that bring us back to a K33 NOT being a K33?? (doesn't really matter to me what the answer is since I don't worry about these things, but it did catch my curiosity)
ClaudeJ1
Had a pair of K33 P's in my FH-1 (cheap Scalas) bins in the office. Those suckers went down to 30 hz. because of room gain in a small room. With EV 940 Horns and DH1A drivers on top, that was a sweet 2-way for my little office down the basement, until I got into MWMs!!

Mostec
Hi, my Cornwall from 1979. The left one is waxed, the right one will be finished in few days. But I’m confused because K-33-E and K-33-B drivers. Both have square magnets, will there be any difference in bass? I found only this (photo) data on the forum. Fromhere what I can see Square magnet on K33E and K33B makes no difference on the sound!? Thank you for your comments in advance.
polizzio
Nice pics and re-finish on the left unit. I have a Cornwall Test Report from 1999 you will probably enjoy reading, found it on the internet while researching. I will attach it here. avguytx
I doubt you will ever hear any difference between those two.
