Sancho Panza
Just appeared on my brick wall, high because ceiling is high & one of my cats is sitting on the mantel, trying to figure out how to catch it. Not the first time; they come down the chimney.

Sancho Panza
7.62mm x 54R, a little much for the tiny squirrel. It's about 3 inches long, 6, IF you count the tail.

Sancho Panza
Got a Red Rider handy; but I won't harm it and the cats gave up. Edited February 27, 2014 by Sancho Panza
mungkiman
Got a Red Rider handy; but I won't harm it and the cats gave up. Red Rider = pissed off squirrel. Perhaps the cats are plotting... Something's going to give. Pneumatic (not spring) airguns (not loaded) make easy work of spiders at close range. Just sayin'

BlackGTS
How about a tall ladder and some leather gloves? These things are pretty rare so save him if you can. Ron

Once I caught one in a net, but couldn't get outside with it.

Marvel
I caught a bat on the wall by putting a coffee can over it. Then slid a piece of cardboard under the can and took it outside and let it go. The squirrel would probably have moved, though.
