Guest coppercone1
Hi Guys, I bought this center recently for my basement HT and didn't match up well with my RF-3's. I replaced with a used RC-3 and that matched up much, much better. I'm asking $220 to include shipping cost or $180 if local pick up (Detroit Metro). Thanks for looking, Neal
Woofers and Tweeters
Welcome to the forum Coppercone. Your speaker looks to be in great shape. Don’t get discouraged in your sale here, most of us already have what we want. What amp are you using? GLWS James
Guest coppercone1
Attached to both the Denon 2808 and the Onkyo 809. Seems to not line up well with the guitar instrumentals coming out of the RF-3s. Vocals are on spot but I primarily listen to music on my system. My RC-62 II lines up well with my RF-3's in my office room from both an HT and musical standpoing, and so does my RF-62 II in the living room. I was fortunate to find an RC-3 II in NH craigslist recently and am very happy. The RC-52 II was just too small to keep up with my other components I guess. CopperCone
Typo above, I'm actually using the monster RF-64II with my RF-3s in the living room and the match is great with the bonus of the warmest vocals of all the centers mentioned.
