Islander
This headphone shop in Portland, Oregon, sounded like a great idea: http://www.6moons.com/industryfeatures/32ohmaudio/1.html It even had headphone fan meets: http://www.head-fi.org/t/508642/portland-seattle-head-fi-meet-at-the-32-ohm-audio-store-many-photos But now it looks like it's closed: http://www.yelp.ca/biz/32-ohm-audio-Portland 32 Ohm Audio appears to have been replaced by ALO Audio, which seems to be an online only store: http://www.aloaudio.com/ They now build headphone amps and cables, but not having a storefront for hands-on (on-ears?) experience of headphones seems like a loss to the headphone fan community.
