001
hi. just thought i'd put this out there. i'm looking for a nice pair of chorus ii's for a 2nd 2ch system i will be doing. i just sold my epic cf-4's (which i shouldnt have) & would like to replace them with some chorus speakers. i prefer oak or walnut finish. please let me know if you have any you'd consider parting with or know of anyone who does. i also have a pristine pair of forte's in walnit oil i would consider trading. located in eastern iowa, willing to drive a short distance or consider shipping if within surrounding midwest states. thanks! 001
just bumping this up. please let me know if you have or know of any chorus 2 speakers for sale. i'm not too picky on the finish, prefer walnut or maybe oak. (walnut will match my fortes & k-horns tho) i realize its a slim chance to find any & im not the only one looking, but worth a try.... beeker
Wow them are sweet. In my opinion thats a killer deal if near mint&consecutive although they do go for about 600 with some flaws. Best of luck with search. I will be watching for you
001
thanks for the post, they look nice but i agree, a little pricey. thats ebay prices there. i see them go for ~$600 all the time in nice shape. actually just missed a pair of oak ones for $450 but it was a 4hr drive. probably would have done it but they sold in less than 24 hours! beeker
Yeah cause they were 450 . Man them in indy i love black. Love chorus ii's. In my opinion the chorus 2 is like gold or better. Never gonna lose value unless damaged. Heck even then they still get 600

Texas, black, but reasonably priced! http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-1000-watt-Klipsch-console-speakers-/261451133011?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item3cdfb3b053 Edited April 13, 2014 by ryanm84
beeker
This is gonna be a race to get the chorus ii's. Im a whole day away and its just not possible. They really look nice. I am looking at some new ultra mods to mine in particular but mine in simple form are crazy good. In my opinion the best speaker made under 100lbs in a single cabinet
001
still looking for chorus ii's at a decent price. & have mint condition fortes i would consider working a trade with. or, for the right deal, possibly trade my pair of mint k-horns! would have to be the right deal & chorus in very good shape on the k-horn trade, but its possible.... mainly just looking to buy the chorus at this time. any possibilities or alerts are appreciated. thanks! 001
hi. yeah i should probably change my user name huh?? but im still a cf4 fan. id have to pick an appropriate name, based on what i own or have owned it could be klipschfan-forte, kg5.5, klf20, or even klipschfank-horn! hopefully i find another pair of cf-4's one day though. never hotrodded my epics, just replaced the brittle o-rings on the mid driver & played with port length, mine were series 2. no those werent mine listed on ebay, mine were black & sold locally on CL. jjptkd
It took me just over a year and a half to locate my first set of Chorus II's. My search began about 10 years ago and I've only seen about 8 pairs ever come up for sale local to me in that time and I search often. Good luck in your search, The Chorus line are exceptional speakers and worth the wait.
001
8 pair in 10 years? you must be in a bad area of the country. they pop up quite often in the midwest, just missed 2 pair in the last 2 weeks within a few hours of me, but the timing wasnt right with my schedule to get them fast enough. both were around $500-$600. i should clarify my recent bump post... im not looking for k-horns, i would consider trading MY k-horns for chorus 2's plus cash, for the right deal. in order to even consider that trade the chorus would need to be in excellent shape & the prices fair on both ends. my k-horns are just too big for my current (or probably future) house so i would consider trading DOWN for chorus if someone wanted to trade UP for k-horns. but its probably best to sell the k-horns when the time is right & then buy the chorus when the right deal pops up. just putting all the options out there. jjptkd
I'm in the Seattle area and they hardly ever come up for sale around here. I've seen probably 100+ pairs of Forte come and go though, must of been big seller's back in the day.
