Budman
i don't know your price range but ronco is a klipsch dealer and a great guy to deal with. i bought a set of RF-83's in cherry B-stock and i couldn't find anything wrong with them. sold them and ended up buying 4 cornwall 3's in cherry from my local dealer back in 07 for 7500 out the door http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Cornwall-III-Main-Stereo-Speakers-B-Stock-/371020790944?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item56628ffca0
A1UC
I am going to try and listen to some before jumping the gun , I'm still nervous about the bright sound I had with my RF-7's I did buy a NBS Pre and really like it and I do plan on getting a pair of VRD's also which I heard are great with horns. The 3k price is good for me , but if I could find used for a great price would be better incase I don't like them I could flip them without a loss . eth2
There is a great pair for $1,700 in Mass. Look in the garage sale section (ddafoe). I am not sure if they are Walnut or Cherry. Edited March 28, 2014 by eth2

opusk2k9
Great deal. I'm lucky it isn't local. I have nearly the same setup. The McIntosh gear alone goes for more than that near me.
Heritage_Head
You could buy some cornwall 1s. Would cost less and be easy to get your money back.
