I also sent an email seeking advice about the computer I bought from him. I wanted confirmation I could uninstall XP and install Windows 7 and have enough ooomph run it. HudsonvalleyNoah. You know he has been making a habit of being scarce over the last couple of years. I think focus on family and "work" may be eating up his time.
