i have never heard the rw-12d but recently acquired 6 sw-112's and sold them all. i will say after tons of demoing them for buyers, they are an extremely boomy subwoofer. and it was noticeable enough that even my wife hated them being on. ymmv. i am used to 4 extremely tight and punchy 18" subs. as well as two horn loaded subs which are also very articulate subs. i doubt there would be much of a difference. whats your budget? something from svs, or psa would be an upgrade for sure.

thats a great price for it. i sold all of mine for 300 each. quickly too. id say for 200 you could buy it and try running duals. if you don't like it, then pick which you like better then sell the other.

i like my rw12d whit the digital on top by theway my set up is rf82 rc 62 rb61 and my rw12d
