W27 Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Any one get these yet? Mine just came in the mail today. I'm wondering if possibly I got the counterfeit I've heard all about? They look ok, but sound awful. There is absolutely no bass at all. So tinny, it's like listening to just the tweeters on a pair of horns. If I am not mistaken these must be inserted into the ear canal and sealed Otherwise they will sound like crap. Plugged into the Oppo with some familiar music and the bass is fine and quite pleasing given the size and price of these. You are right Joe, they need to be inserted into the ear canal. I was also getting some feedback through the cord when I moved around. That's why I assumed maybe I got a bad or counterfeit pair.
