So what one of four boxes I have dimensions  would that be?

Would be hard to tell, wouldn't it? I would have to measure the one with the Klipsch label and send those measurements to you, but I'm too lazy. One of the sets of plans, drawn by Jim Easley was made from genuine LS made by different folks.

Yes and you and I need dimensions to cut,  my point is the dimensions are not available  on the interweb.  So what did you cut?

The Pyramid in Giza is big,  but no dimensions?   No one has been able to copy it.

Buy Klipsch hear the music,   a clone sound like   WHATEVER  you built ..

Mate anyone can get dimensions from an original item

It’s not hard to email a friend that has refurbished a set and ask for the dimensions

Get the idea now ?

So what do you have?   A  really big Bose box?

C'mon, you're deliberately trolling.  That doesn't help.

If you'll edit the troll post, I'll delete this post and we can all go back to trying to be helpful.  There is no need to be nasty.

Yes and the internal dimensions are different with production and driver changes thru the years on production.

So what do you have?   A  really big Bose box?

And as yet - you haven’t realised it yet

But you have just endorsed the modifications of the speakers

If the factory can change the speaker to make them better why can’t an experienced audiophile with decades of experience do the same

Hi- Sorry to be dumb. The PCB shown in the photos, did you make that?

The PCB was purchased second hand or at least unused from member @sootshe

The PCB attenuator for the tweeter was built by ALK engineering and available from them

ALK thinks my crossover is ugly - But I can bet that with the components used it sounds 1000% better

The easiest way to attenuate a tweeter, is to add resistors of varying values until you have the sound you like

And you can find other offerings as well if you look around
