Herseys/Cornwalls/Fortes

The same sort of definitional advantages as the Corns, IMO, and apparently a different balance between the deepest bass and midrange. But, unless things have changed, the C/W III uses the HERESY treble complement, a smaller, 700-Hz horn, crossed over at a (relatively) stratospheric 800 Hz.

When I talked to Gary Gillum, former Klipsch chief engineer, long retired, he didn't like that they went to the Heresy horn on the Cornwall. Thought it was not good. Personally, I would fit a Fastrac horn in there, then all bets are off.

I've heard all the speakers mentioned here and have owned most. The Forte IIs are the best kept secret. I've had chorus IIs also.

The forte II's are in my bedroom. ....... considered my wife's speakers now.

It's a tossup between those two. Had them all too.

PS..... In doing so you may find yourself putting the rest of your Heritage line up for sale!

BS. Only if you don't try tri amping with PEQ first. Let's not get carried away.

Easy Francis, was only a joke...... Claude has spoken, court is adjourned.... LOL.....

Well, I did however appreciate your enthusiasm even if I didn't get the joke.
