Schu
have you reconsidered the XO lately?
Heritage_Head
have you reconsidered the XO lately? You mean like upgrade them? Yes I was thinking that would be something I will do. Not sure when though. You said upgrading yours was a big difference right?
Schu
I would not own a pair of speakers again where I did not consider this a necessary upgrade prior to buying that new set/pair.. meaning I need to factor in that cost. regarding getting a price quote on the pro line... at least I got the email telling us that panacea was down for the count until next year. I just hope nothing comes up prior to that time, because I might have been ready to pull the trigger here before xmas. Heritage_Head
It would be really hard to not have the ht running for a month in this house. If I had the xo done it could easily take that long or longer.
Schu
it would take longer... of that you can be sure. not sure about the XO in relation to HT though, I would be more attune to musical qualities over explosions and voices.
Heritage_Head
I like both a lot. Lots of good music in movies.

Heritage_Head
You might be right. I thought that too. So I built a 2ch with Cornwalls. Those sound really really nice for music. But still The 904s have taken over both.

derrickdj1
I need to stay out of this tread. It will be much cheaper in the end, lol. Nice Heresey's Ryan!

Thanks Derrick I see your point. You know you could always do like me and scrappy did and sell your front 3 and come over to the pro side. We would love to have you . the kpt325 are around 1k each and have same horn/driver and one 15. That would be the best value I think.
Scrappydue
Derrick, do it!!! You can be in the pro club with us. You'll chuckle after you hear a pro center vs the 64. I promise.

Thaddeus Smith
Persistence is key, blended with patience. He has my money and we barely talk. In the meantime I just daydream about what my build will look and sound like.
CECAA850
Persistence is key, blended with patience. Certainly worth the wait. I have 5 of his creations at home. Generally I just stare at them for what seems to be an eternity before I put them in.
