KenazFilan
That is definitely a Klipsch crossover. I wonder if these aren't DIY Shorthorns. This thread on AudioKarma has a picture of a brochure which mentions DIY Kits: they may have been made by somebody whose skill in cabinetmaking was greater than his skill at wiring. Not Shorthorns, factory, kit, DIY, or otherwise.

Stig
That was a Jensen Imperial back loaded corner horn. It needs a sealed back to function properly
YK Thom
I've googled pictures of the Jensen as well as the Klipsch Shorthorn and Rebel, they seem to fall in-between and have elements of each. Very funky looking speakers and if they sound good (or could sound good), they would be worth restoring. Those cabinets are very nice and furniture grade by the look of the pictures. pzannucci
Home brew (look at the cut outs for the woofer) and using Klipsch parts. Was a larger rear ported enclosure and the front was not a port but I assume hole for midbass. The back panels are nailed on. It doesn't seem you were ever supposed to change the woofer without a crowbar. Should open it up to figure out what the woofers were. Also Klipsch didn't go for L-Pads. Those are rear ported without bass horn. The box and top are closed off.
