FS: Belle Klipsch

Hello,

I'm selling my pair of Belle Klipsch in Medium Oak with brown grills.

It has AB crossovers and I brought new AA/A crossovers from Bob Crites two years ago.

Its in excellent condition with a small strip of veneer broken off at the bottom

of the left side riser and a pencil eraser head size scuff mark on the right side of one of the speaker.

Its missing the back labels. I think is made around 1986 because the tweeters have serial# 8611 stamped on the back,

meaning the tweeters were made in Nov. 1986. Please correct me if I'm wrong about the date.

Photos attached.

I'm selling for $1700.00 a pair.

I'm in Buford, GA, right off I-85N, exit 120

Kenny,

Palletize them and wrap with blanketz... I dont see any issues.

Schu was being serious (for once :P ). I shipped two 4' tall custom built subs, two KP-250's, hardware, wheels and wires on a pallet from TX to Oregon with no issues. The key is to use a LOT of shrink wrap, protect the corners and edges and tightly secure to the pallet. If the speakers are not as big as the pallet, nothing will touch them. Trucking companies are normally more careful than FED-UPS.

My mileage varies. FedEx and UPS rarely damage goods received daily in my business. Contrast that to watching the rear door of a semi open to reveal a Volvo transmission crushing the goods being delivered. To some degree it's due to poor packing by the sender, but goods in a nearly empty trailer rattle around like a giant maraca.

A sturdy pallet, thorough packing and Forward Air will get large speakers there safely and economically.

I get great rates through my work with CON-WAY, I can ship a pair of Klipschorns from Omaha to Washington for about 150.00, and thats in 3 days.
