mixmaster LRH
I Did a search but no one seemed to have the same problem i could be wrong? I noticed that the connections on the back of the sats, the mini connectors, when i rotate them while playing music it scratches and the music cuts in and out? However when i rotate then 360 degrees once or twice they stop doing it for a short time, all of the sats are doing this? I was wondering if this was normal or if not how i could fix it for good? thanx in advance for any suggestions you can give.
Begby
Hey, I have this same problem. It seems I have to rotate them around until I can hear the full sound coming out the speaker with no scratchiness. Its fine if I leave them sitting there, but if I move a satellite I need to readjust the connector a bit. A little annoying, but I guess only a small inconvenience
Paragon
They are all like that.. Not the best quality jacks - this is why many people make better cables with better jacks. Just turn the jack till you get full volume and leave.
mixmaster LRH
Awesome thanks a million. I am considering making new cable however i'm not sure the solder less mini jacks from radio shack will work with the WB-1 wall mounted stands? Any ways thank you for the quick reply. Paragon
No Problem.. All you have to do is thread the end of the wire that does not have the Jacks on it Or you can just measure the inside diameter of the stands and see which plugs fit at RadioShack
Moderators Amy Posted March 19, 2001 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2001 You can try cleaning off the metal connections, too, with some lint free cloth. --Amy
